Mizhhiria

The town of Mizhhiria is an administrative center of the Mizhhiria Raion (district) in the
Zakarpattia Oblast (region) of Ukraine.
The town was founded in 1415, town status got in 1947.
Population: 9,567 (2019).

Until 1938 it was named as Volowe. A new name was chosen to avoid confusion with nearby Volovets.
